*Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
*Provide assistance with grocery shopping and other errands as needed.
*Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
*Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and positioning as needed.
*Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences.
*Assist with feeding if required and ensure adequate hydration.
*Engage in meaningful conversations and companionship to alleviate loneliness.
*Plan and participate in activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
*Assist with transportation to medical appointments, social outings, planning and packing for trips, and other necessary activities.
*Keep a watchful eye on the senior's health, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to relevant family members or healthcare professionals.
*Follow prescribed care plans and communicate effectively with medical professionals.
*Maintain detailed and accurate records of care provided, changes in health, and any incidents that may occur.
*Previous experience in caregiving, preferably with seniors an asset.
*PSW or HCA is an asset.
*CPR and First Aid certification not required but is an asset.
*Food safe certification not required but is an asset.
*Empathy and patience in dealing with the challenges of aging.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to adapt to the changing needs of seniors and work independently.
*Legally able to work in Canada
*Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
*Proof of Bonding and Liability insurance.
*Proof of Criminal Record check
*Consent to a Background check
